The Dry Port & the Industrial Acceleration Zone of Agadir

A gateway to fostering an exportdriven industry in Souss Massa for the next 30 years.

The Agadir Atlantic Hub Dry Port project, enthusiastically supported by local authorities, the Regional Council, and the CGEM Souss Massa, is expected to begin soon. The integration of the dry port on a 100-hectare plot of land taken from the Industrial Acceleration Zone represents an unprecedented opportunity for the industrialization of the Souss Massa Region.

Export orientation of the Souss Massa Industrial Acceleration Zone (ZAI) would gain greater investment appeal if it were to host an on-site bonded dry port. Such a facility would optimize logistics costs and provide investors with a significant competitive advantage by facilitating the import, processing, and re-exportation under customs control. This is particularly pertinent given the African focus of the industry in the Souss Massa region.

The Souss Massa Dry Port, dubbed Agadir Atlantic Hub, is developed through a partnership involving the Tanger Méditerranée Special Agency (TMSA), the Deposit and Management Fund (CDG), and the Souss Massa Regional Council, responsible with overseeing its management and implementation.

Features of the Agadir Atlantic Hub

20 hectares: customs warehouses

5 hectares: services, customs, scanners, administrative offices

10 hectares: container park

15 hectares: International Road Transport park and parking areas

50 hectares: industrial and activity zones
